Vintage cabinets can be reproduced or new cabinets can be designed and built for vintage drivers. The cabinets are built from 18mm Baltic Birch Plywood and in some cases double thick (36mm) Baltic Birch Plywood. Drivers are mounted with machine bolts and T-nuts. Cabinets can be finished in veneer or in bare plywood.

JBL 4345

This 4345 is built from 18 and 24mm Baltic Birch Plywood and finished in walnut veneer. The baffle is finished in JBL blue.

ALTEC 612

The Altec 612 cabinet is a vintage design from the 1940’s and was heavily used as studio monitors (Abbey Road) and for sound stages. The cabinet is built from 18mm Baltic Birch Plywood and is internally braced as the original.

ESS AMT 1

This version on the ESS AMT1 was built from 18mm Baltic Birch Plywood and finished in black Duratex. The cabinet volume and tuning is as the original design. My client supplied a new JBL woofers for the build.

ONKIN JBL

This Onkin cabinet was built for JBL woofers and was built from 24mm Baltic Birch Plywood. The cabinets were left in bare plywood.

TANNOY MONITOR GOLD 12

This trapezoidal cabinet was built for Tannoy Monitor Gold 12” drivers, are internally braced and tuned to 40Hz. The cabinets are built from 18mm Baltic Birch Plywood and finished in walnut veneer
